Veteran & Community Grant for Cooloola Coast Vietnam Veterans

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss, has welcomed Federal Government funding of $3,500 to the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia Cooloola Coast Sub-branch, to help fund a series of bus trips for sub-branch members.The Veteran & Community Grants program aims to maintain and improve the independence and quality of life of members of the veteran community by providing financial assistance for activities, services and projects that sustain and/or enhance well being of veterans.
“The members of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia Cooloola Coast Sub-branch are to be congratulated on their successful application,” Mr Truss said.
