
Saluting Their Service Grant for Cooroy—Pomona RSL

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss, has welcomed Federal Government funding of $2,079 to the Cooroy—Pomona Sub-branch of the Returned & Services League of the Australia, to help fund plaques at the RSL Memorial Park in Cooroy, to commemorate the sacrifices made by our armed forces in all wars, conflicts and peace keeping operations.“Saluting Their Service encourages community participation in commemorative activities by honouring the service and sacrifice of those who have served Australia in wars, conflicts and peace operations,” Mr Truss said.
“The members of the Cooroy—Pomona RSL Sub-branch are to be congratulated on the success of their application.”
