Veteran & Community Grant for Fraser Coast Support Group

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss, has welcomed Federal Government funding of $8,167 to the Partners of Veterans Association — Fraser Coast Support Group, to help purchase computer equipment, a digital camera, projector and a filing cabinet.The Veteran & Community Grants program aims to maintain and improve the independence and quality of life of members of the veteran community by providing financial assistance for activities, services and projects that sustain or enhance well being of veterans.
“The members of the Fraser Coast Support Group are to be congratulated on the success of their application,” Mr Truss said.
