Veteran & Community Grant for Tin Can Bay RSL

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss, has welcomed Federal Government funding of $8,113 to the Tin Can Bay Sub-branch of the Returned Services League of Australia, to purchase exercise equipment and a storage trolley.The Veteran & Community Grants program aims to maintain and improve the independence and quality of life of members of the veteran community by providing financial assistance for activities, services and projects that sustain or enhance well being of veterans.
“The members of the Tin Can Bay RSL Sub-branch are to be congratulated on the success of their application,” Mr Truss said.
