TIRF Grants to help local tourism industry
23rd July, 2013
An Australian Government grants program to assist the tourism industry has opened for applications, Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss said today.“The tourism industry is an important part of Wide Bay’s economy,” Mr Truss said.
“Local hotels, restaurants and cafes and tour operators on the Fraser, Cooloola and Sunshine Coasts and in the South Burnett rely on tourism to provide jobs, so it is important that the Federal Government plays its part to assist the industry’s growth and sustainability, especially in these tough economic times.”
