Wide Bay’s Community Survey 2016 delivered from tomorrow

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss, has reminded Wide Bay residents they can have their say on a range of issues in Wide Bay’s Community Survey 2016, being delivered to letterboxes across the electorate from this weekend.“Wide Bay’s Community Survey 2016 will arrive in people’s letterboxes from Saturday and delivery should be completed by the end of next week,” Mr Truss said.
An online version of the survey will be available on the website www.warrentruss.com/survey
“Wide Bay is a terrific place to live and I want to hear about what we can do to make it even better,” Mr Truss said.
Wide Bay’s Community Survey 2016 asks people to respond to a range of local, state and national issues and highlight which are important to them. Subjects including health, transport, the economy, taxation, education, population, foreign ownership, law and order, resources and energy, the environment, and social and civic issues.
“The survey gauges peoples’ support for ideas and proposals that sometimes come before parliaments and would impact on their local community, our region and our country,” Mr Truss said.
“Wide Bay’s Community Survey 2016 gives people an opportunity to have their say and will help me to better reflect their views in the Federal Parliament.
“The survey results will help build a stronger community, and enhance our region’s place in Queensland and Australia.”
The survey should be returned to Mr Truss by folding and sealing the survey so the reply paid details are on the front and it should be posted by 31 March 2016.
