The Stronger Communities Programme is a Federal Government initiative designed to increase the resilience of communities, especially those in disadvantaged rural and regional areas, by providing grants for small capital projects.
Local councils and incorporated not for profit organisations can apply for grants of between $5,000 and $20,000, with up to $150,000 available for each Federal electorate per year. Applications for the second round of the program are now open.
