Applications invited for 2016 SUEZ Community Grants Program

20th April, 2016
Federal Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss today invited community organisations in the Noosa area to apply for the 2016 SUEZ Community Grants Program.

“Grants of up to $15,000 are available to community groups that encourage local participation in social and environmental projects which help create a more sustainable future.

“This is a great opportunity for local groups to fund projects that focus on community involvement, environmental awareness and improving the local environment,” Mr Truss said.

The 2016 SUEZ Community Grants Program is intended to support a range of organisations in communities across Australia in which SUEZ operates its facilities and delivers its services. In the Wide Bay area SUEZ designed and built the Noosa Sewage Treatment Plant and are now responsible for the operation, maintenance and asset management of the plant.

Applications close 16 May 2016 and can be submitted online at www.suezcommunitygrants.com.au
